1.       We are sinners and live under a death sentence.

Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12

As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.” Romans 3:10, 11

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8

2.       God loves us and provided a way of salvation for us.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

This is how God showed his love among us; He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9, 10

3.       Jesus Christ took on himself the penalty for our sin.

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous, for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. 1 Peter 3:18

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. John 3:14, 15

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

4.       Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Acts 16:30, 31

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him. John 3:36
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him and to our God, for he will freely pardon. Isaiah 55:6, 7
