How to use tracts effectively

Millions have never read a clear presentation of the Gospel.

Tracts provide a simple way to proclaim the Gospel clearly.

People read tracts. People come to Christ through tracts. And people who give tracts find that their walk with the Lord becomes powerful and exhilarating. Tracts work.

How can you get your church active in proclaiming the Gospel?

It’s very simple. Even the youth in your church can do this. In India, our tract distributors were instrumental in over 12,000 baptisms of new Christians last year, alone. Here is how they did it:

One tract to one person per day for one month.

1. Ask a few people in your church to join you in becoming a tract distributor for 30 days.
2. Give each volunteer a packet of 30 tracts. We have an assortment of 30 of our most popular tracts available for $3.00 plus $2.50 postage. Or pick your favorites from our inventory. We have over 300 titles in stock. Use a rubber stamp to add your church name and address to the back of the tract.
3. Read each tract before you hand it out.
4. Pray: Do not distribute a single tract without prayer. The result of evangelism through tract distribution is directly proportional to one’s faith in God’s willingness to use the printed word.
a) Pray for God to lead you and give you an opportunity to give the tract or leave it in an appropriate place.
b) Pray for the person who reads the tract.
5. Don’t give up. Complete the 30 tracts: one tract per day to one person.
6. Follow up: ask your volunteers to share their experience with each other.

• Encourage people to fall into the arms of a loving God.

• Invite people in your neighborhood to visit your church to learn of the saving work of Jesus Christ.

• Nudge people to repent and accept the atoning sacrifice of Christ.

• Persuade your members to become more active in the life of your church.

• Strengthen your own faith as you partner with Christ in the greatest endeavor in the world.
